This batch of NKT275 germanium transistors are now extinct. I searched planet Earth for over five years for the real "Holy Grail" NKT275 germanium transistors from the 1960's. In spite of all of the fake re-stamped NKT275's out there, I finally found a very small batch of the real NKT275 germanium transistor that were within the usable Fuzz hfe gain range window. There are only a small number of pedals made.

Controls
Fire = Gain: Adjusts the level from soft subtle fuzz tone to amazing deep organic fuzz tones.
Haze = Tone: Controls the amount of bass attenuation. Counterclockwise position will decrease the bass allowing for more mid-range and a tighter bottom.
Volume: The volume knob functions as the master on/off for the fuzz circuit battery so you do not have to unplug the input jack when not in use. Note: Some of the earlier GE pedals did not have the on/off switch.

After a year of development, testing every transistor available and painstakingly listening to every component available for this pedal… the Third Stone was born. The key to the tone of the pedal is the natural mid-range, control over the bass and the incredible feel. The focus on the mid-range will cut through better in a live performance. Inspired by the Fuzz tones of the 1960’s the Third Stone was designed to be the most organic and versatile fuzz made.

Mode
EXP: Tones are warmer, less gain and more organic.
Axis: Tones are more aggression with higher gain.
Mid: Boost the mid-range.
Bass: Opens up the bottom-end.
Transistors are Si and temperature stable.
High-end capacitors and carbon composition resistors.
True bypass.
